Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Zetily collects, why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, and the choices and rights you have over it.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Who we are
Zetily (“Zetily”, “we”, “us”) is a life-organizer application operated from Germany. This policy applies to the Zetily mobile app and to zetily.com. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@zetily.com.
Website visits and beta requests
The zetily.com marketing website does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. Standard technical request logs, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp, may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the website. Selecting a beta or support link opens your email application; the message is sent only if you choose to send it and is then handled by the email providers involved.
2. Data you provide directly
When you create an account, Zetily uses Supabase Authentication to store your email address and, if you choose to add one, your name. This is the minimum information needed to create and secure your account.
As you use the app, you enter your own content into Zetily’s modules, which is stored so it can be shown back to you across devices:
- Bills and invoices (Vault)
- Calendar events and reminders
- Notes
- Goals and habits
- Travel plans
- Vehicles and related records
3. Health data
4. Camera access
Zetily requests camera access for two features you actively choose to use:
- Vault document scanning (OCR) — to capture and extract data from bills, receipts and invoices.
- Work shift scanning — to capture and extract data from printed or digital work-schedule images.
Photos taken for these features are processed using the Anthropic Claude API to extract structured data (such as amounts, dates or shift times). Images are sent to Anthropic solely for this processing. Extracted records and any documents you choose to keep are stored in our Supabase infrastructure. Zetily does not use scan images for advertising.
5. Microphone access
Zetily Voice lets you interact with the app using speech. Speech recognition runs locally on your device — no audio is recorded, transmitted or stored on any server.
6. Photo library access
Zetily Catch is an optional feature that can save relevant screenshots or images to your organizer. It is disabled by defaultand only activates if you explicitly opt in from the app’s settings.
7. Notifications
With your permission, Zetily sends push notifications for reminders and upcoming bill due dates. You can disable these at any time from your device’s notification settings.
8. Location
Zetily does not collect live GPS location. Any location-like information (for example in Travel or Work Shift entries) comes exclusively from data you type in manually.
9. Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) to run Zetily. We do not sell your personal data.
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for all your account and content data.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — AI processing for document/shift scanning and smart suggestions.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting, to help us find and fix bugs. Crash reports may contain technical device information but are not used to build advertising profiles.
Zetily does not currently offer paid subscriptions. If we introduce subscriptions in the future, purchases will be processed through the Google Play / App Store billing systems and, where used, RevenueCat as a subscription-management processor. This policy will be updated before that happens.
10. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Contract — processing your account and content data is necessary to provide the Zetily service you signed up for.
- Consent — camera, microphone, photo library and push notification access are only used after you grant permission, and can be withdrawn at any time in your device settings.
- Legitimate interest — crash reporting, to keep the app stable and secure.
11. Data retention
We keep your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described in our Account Deletion page.
12. Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (or any other region with equivalent data protection laws), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, email support@zetily.com. To request account deletion specifically, see our Account Deletion page.
13. International data transfers
Some of our processors (Supabase, Anthropic, Sentry) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as required by GDPR.
14. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and Supabase Row Level Security policies that restrict every record to its owning account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using currently accepted industry standards.
15. Children’s privacy
Zetily is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
